In this ever-increasing competitive world, there is no space for leaving a stone unturned. We are always trying to move ahead fast, forgetting about our bodies, which are not machines. We are still burying the pain to ensure that we don’t fall behind the schedule, not attending to some small complaints of everyday pain may lead to a chronic after-effect. You should not bother as we have CBD (cannabidiol) for our rescue!

The use of CBD oil has been on its upward trend in U.S. markets and is projected to reach $12.9 billion by 2024. The news is Hemp-derived CBD is legally available in all 50 states. In an increasing trend of CBD oil usage, people can get relief from normal physical pain or stress to chronic pain.  As there are several CDB oil options available on the shelf, there is a growing need to understand CBD oil usage and put it to its best purpose. Still, as humans, we have always wanted to understand things better before they can be applied. There is a lot of buzz in the market about CBD oil options and their respective results, let’s get under the skin to recognize it better.

Source for CBD oil

First things first, from where do you get this CBD oil? It is available from a Cannabis plant that has two different orderings. These are namely known as ‘Sativa’ and ‘Indica.’ Hemp CBD oil derived from the Sativa version of cannabis plants has over 80 chemicals known as cannabinoids (CBD). In contrast, Marijuana CBD oil extracted from both Sativa or Indica versions of cannabis plants. Hemp and Marijuana are both termed as cannabis, but only Hemp can get a clean legal status. A bit tough to digest, isn’t it? Let’s go deeper.

There are some significant differences in the properties of Sativa and Indica cannabis plants. Sativa is stimulating, energetic, uplifting, and best suited for day use, whereas Indica is sedating, relaxing, calming, and best suited for night use. The Hemp is cultivated industrially for its different usages. Its seeds are mainly used for food and cosmetics, more over hemp stalks are known for their fiber content and are used in building material and clothing. Flowers from Hemp are used for its cannabinoid content (CBD). The cannabinoid content of Hemp CBD oil makes it different from Marijuana. A marijuana plant is reaped for euphoric, calming, and psychoactive properties. As against Hemp cultivation, Marijuana is cultivated only for its resin-rich flowers.

The difference between the two

Sativa and Indica are not only different in their properties but also in their appearances. The Sativa plant is thinner, taller and can grow from 2 to 4 meters. Hence, always cultivated in the open. The leaves of Sativa plant are more delicate and are more of a conical or pointed shape with a kind of spread out pattern. On the other hand, Indica plants are short and bushier, and their leaves are bunched together as stocky.

Hemp comes with a higher concentration of CBD, but that is of non-psychoactive properties, meaning it does not give you a high or change your state of mind. The tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content of Hemp is meager 0.3%, which is almost negligible. At the same time, Marijuana can have up to 30% of THC. These high percentages of THC affect your mind and decision-making abilities. Due to this, Marijuana cannabis is classified as a Schedule I substance under the Controlled Substance Act of 1970.

Hemp CBD oil is legally available in most countries, as its 0.3% THC content is acceptable for therapeutic uses. Before the Farm Bill of 2018 was introduced, CBD products available on shelves in the United States were imported from low-resin industrial Hemp grown in Europe and China. As Hemp’s reaping is legal again in the United States, it’s now easier to obtain the organic quality and third-party tested products.

Now, as we have understood the difference between a HEMP CBD oil Vs., marijuana CBD oil, let’s now know how it works and the best uses of HEMP CBD oil.

All cannabinoids stimulate effects within the body by networking with cannabinoid receptors, which leads to the formation of the endocannabinoid system. The body produces two types of receptors. CB1 receptors that are available throughout the body but majorly in the brain help in movement, pain relief, emotional balance, alleviating mood, thinking ability, improved appetite, memory, and other functions. The other receptor is CB2, which is mainly available in the immune system. It affects inflammation and pain. The cannabidiol influences the brain; the root causes for this are still not concrete. However, cannabidiol helps stop the rundown of chemicals in the brain that causes pain, mood, and mental dysfunction. Staying rundown of chemicals in the brain, and adding its blood levels helps to cut down psychotic symptoms linked to schizophrenia. Cannabidiol may also stop some psychotic effects of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). With this, it also works in reducing pain and anxiety.

The research has shown how HEMP CBD oil is helping us in pain management. People using CBD oils for arthritis have shown improvements. A study has suggested that using CBD can reduce chronic pain and inflammation. CDB is referred to as helpful in a variety of health issues. Still, most viable scientific proof for its effectiveness is found in most gruesome childhood epilepsy syndromes, such as Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). These syndromes didn’t typically respond to anti seizures medications. But in numerous studies, CBD was able to lower the number of seizures, and in some instances, it was able to stop it altogether. CBD is commonly used to cure anxiety and for patients who have trouble due to insomnia. Research has shown that CBD helps in both falling asleep and staying asleep. It is essential that you use the right type of CBD oil, as there can be adverse health effects if Marijuana is used.

Take away for you

Hemp CBD oil does prove to be effective in budding pain relief options. Circumstantial evidence approves that it can be used to manage enduring pain in most cases. Hemp CBD oil seems favorable due to non-intoxicating properties, which lowers its possible side effects than many other pain medications. You should always discuss with your doctor before considering its usage for the first time.
